In the collection dedicated to the Tatras, we are once again bringing you cult cottages. Now we start with the only alpine hut in the territory of the Belianske Tatras — Plesnivec.
Chata Plesnivec served for many years as a research station of TANAP, where for many years Oldo Bublík and later Eva Kasická worked almost in isolation. It was only opened for tourists at the end of the last century.
Fungus is not found above the forest belt or under exceptionally high peaks. Actually, it is completely off the main routes in the Belianske Tatras, at the end of the Valley of the Seven Springs.
When you visit it, you will enjoy a piece of solitude. You won't find any tourists on this Poustra by Adriena Lehocká. Just like in reality. Plesnivec is an escape from crowded hiking trails. And we believe that it will stay that way.

Together with Hikemates, we are changing the approach to construction of tourist shelters . Sparingly, with as little negative impact on the environment as possible.
